WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congresswoman Kim Schrier, M.D. (WA-08) alongside Congressman Larry Bucshon (IN-08), Congressman Ami Bera, M.D. (CA-06) and seven additional representatives introduced a bipartisan bill, H.R. 9778, the Penicillin Allergy Verification and Evaluation (PAVE) Act. This legislation would add a penicillin allergy verification component to the “Welcome to Medicare” preventive visit and annual wellness visits.

WASHINGTON, DC – Yesterday, Congresswoman Kim Schrier, M.D. (WA-08) introduced the Gas Prices Relief Act, another step in lowering costs for Eighth District constituents. This bill would continue to lower high gas costs for Washington families by temporarily suspending the 18.4 cent federal gas tax until January 1, 2025. Congresswoman Schrier is joined in introducing this legislation by Representative Josh Harder (CA-09).
