App Challenge

App Challenge

Each year, Members of Congress host the Congressional App Challenge in their respective district. During the challenge, students design apps on a topic of their choice individually or in teams, improving their knowledge of coding and computer science in the process. The challenge cultivates STEM knowledge and interest within middle and high school students, helping to promote career exploration through hands on work in STEM, coding, and computer science. Through connecting Representatives with innovative technologies, the challenge also impacts policymaking and empowers students to find creative solutions.
