I am also a patient with Type 1 Diabetes. My life depends on insulin, so the high cost of prescription drugs affects me and people like me every day.
WASHINGTON, D.C. – As Congress holds hearings about the high cost of insulin, U.S. Representative Kim Schrier, M.D. (WA-08) has introduced a bipartisan bill that will bring down the cost of insulin. Rep. The amendment would increase the number of healthcare professionals who are able to assist children exposed to violence. The Violence Against Women Reauthorization Act passed the House on Thursday.
