Washington State Hospital Association Rural Hospitals Birthing/Maternity Training & Capacity Expansion Program

Amount Requested: $625,000

The Washington State Hospital Association Rural Hospitals Birthing/Maternity Training & Capacity Expansion Program would provide technical assistance, training, and simulations that are in line with recommendations from the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) to 30 critical access hospitals (CAH) that have delivery services and 14 without delivery services (ED training) most of which are also critical access hospitals. All 43 hospitals are in rural, underserved areas. The Washington State Hospital Association will support these hospitals with training and virtual simulation.
