Social Security Casework
Our seniors have spent their lives paying into Social Security and rightfully expect to receive the benefits that they've earned. The Social Security Administration administers benefits to approximately 70 million individuals, and from time to time, problems arise. If you're having an issue with Social Security, please know that my office is here to help.
Our caseworkers have years of experience advocating for our constituents and working to help them resolve Social Security-related issues. Here's what some constituents have had to say about their experience with our casework team.
“Thank you so very much for assisting me with my appeal with Social Security office. I have been trying to get them to remove an offset for 2 1/2 years. I appreciate your assistance. Your staff were so friendly and were so expedient in getting this solve. Thank you again." - Debra from Arlington.
“Thank you and your staff for helping me resolve a three-month old issue with the Social Security Administration (SSA). SSA contacted me the day after I sent your office the information and resolved the issue that day." - Robert from Graham.
“The local Social Security office said all their appointments were taken and couldn't tell me when more would be made available. I contacted Rep. Schrier's office and asked to submit details of my request online. The following week I received a call from Social Security. The agent was ready to conduct the needed interview at that time but I was on my way out the door to an appointment. I was offered a telephone appointment the next day, at my choice of times. Situation resolved, with the help of Congresswoman Schrier's staff, much sooner than it would have been otherwise.” - Miriam from Redmond.
While we cannot guarantee you a favorable outcome, we will do our best to help you receive a fair and timely response to your problem.
