Schrier Statement on Today’s House Vote on Impeachment Inquiry

WASHINGTON, DC – Congresswoman Kim Schrier, M.D. (WA-08) released the following statement after the House voted for a transparent path forward on the impeachment inquiry:

"Today's vote lays out the next steps and lets the American people know what they can expect going forward, including public hearings and underlying evidence. What we've seen thus far suggests that our President abused the power of his office for personal gain and put himself above the law. I have said all along that we all deserve to know what happened. I am glad to see we are moving forward in a fair, transparent way. No one is above the law."
