Representative Kim Schrier’s Statement on Russian Invasion of Ukraine

WASHINGTON, DC – Today, U.S. Representative Kim Schrier, M.D. (WA-08) released the following statement on Russia’s invasion of Ukraine:

“This unprovoked invasion of Ukraine is heartbreaking and a breach of global peace and stability. While the American people do not want to get pulled into another war on foreign soil, there will be consequences for Russia’s actions. This additional action today shows that we stand united with our allies in support of Ukraine to hold Putin accountable with punishing sanctions on Russia. My thoughts and prayers are with the people of Ukraine and their friends and family here in the United States.”
