Rep. Schrier Sworn In For Third Term Representing Washington’s 8th Congressional District

WASHINGTON, DC – Congresswoman Kim Schrier, M.D. (WA-08) was officially sworn in for her third term as the Representative for Washington’s 8th Congressional District.
“I am honored to continue to represent the people of the 8th district and be their voice in Washington D.C.,” said Rep. Schrier. “I particularly look forward to working with constituents in the new parts of the 8th District. I will continue to work to bring down costs for families and businesses, work with law enforcement to keep our communities safe, and ensure every child in our district has their best shot in life. As one of the few doctors in Congress, I will also work to make health care and prescription drugs more affordable, and will always champion the right for women to make their own very personal health care decisions. I’m glad to be back and ready to serve this district!”
