Rep. Schrier Statement on House Passage of Export-Import Bank Reauthorization

WASHINGTON, DC – Congresswoman Kim Schrier, M.D. (WA-08) released the following statement after she voted for the Export-Import Bank Reauthorization:

"I was happy to vote for this bill today that will help over 130 businesses in Washington state, including almost a dozen in the 8^th district. As one of the most trade-dependent states in the country, the Export-Import Bank allows Washington businesses to be competitive in the international market. The Ex-Im Bank is fundamental to our state's economy. Even better, this doesn't cost taxpayers any money and actually returns money back to the taxpayer. It's a real win all around."
