Rep. Schrier Releases Report on How Her Office is Serving 8th District Residents and Businesses

October 31, 2022

ISSAQUAH, WA – Today Congresswoman Kim Schrier, M.D. (WA-08) released a casework assistance report about how her office has helped 8th District residents navigate big, complicated federal agencies.

“When people think of a member of Congress, they often think about work done in DC passing laws and voting,” said Rep. Schrier. “That is true. But some of the most important work my office does is helping out residents on a case-by-case basis, advocating for them and getting them answers from bureaucratic federal agencies. I’m proud of the work my office has done to bring this money back to the district.”

In the 117th Congress, Rep. Schrier’s office has returned over $19 million to 8th District families and businesses and helped out over 3,000 constituents. Since being sworn in to Congress in 2019, Rep. Schrier’s office has returned over $22 million total to the 8th District.
