Schrier, sheriff celebrate less-lethal funding

8th District Congresswoman Kim Schrier will be in Wenatchee on Thursday to celebrate new federal funding for the Chelan County Sheriff’s Office. The Democrat helped secure just over $713,000 to buy less-lethal equipment that would help deputies overpower subjects who resist arrest.
