The Bonney Lake Food Bank has a mission to provide equitable access to nutritious food to those in the community facing food insecurity. Since the pandemic began, the Bonney Lake Food Bank more than doubled the number of people served in the community. They provide fresh produce, proteins, and dairy to individuals and families in need.

The pandemic highlighted the importance of building local and sustainable food supply chains. This program will invest in greenhouse infrastructure to allow for year-round food production which will lead to lower food purchasing costs and increase food security resilience. Additional investments in smart lockers will keep food fresh and safe for family pickups.
