The Carbonado Wastewater Treatment Plant Relocation Project would support improvement in its performance, and use of a Sequencing Batch Reactor (SBR) for the Town of Carbonado, WA. The wastewater will flow through a gravity line from the existing wastewater treatment plant to a town-owned site. The proposed site will provide adequate wastewater disposal for the Town of Carbonado while protecting critical habitat for Endangered Species Act-listed Puget Sound Chinook salmon, steelhead, and bull trout present in the Carbon River below.
