Passport Casework

I understand that my constituents may run into issues with the State Department. Please know that my office is here to help. Thankfully, my office can assist our constituents secure a passport in a timely fashion.

Our caseworkers have years of experience advocating for our constituents and working to help them secure passports in a timely fashion. Here's what some constituents have had to say about their experience with our casework team.

“I needed a new passport after mine was stolen. I applied immediately.  When it came, just 2 weeks before an international trip, I noticed my name spelled incorrectly.  I contacted your office and was very impressed with the quick response. Not only were you able to secure an emergency appointment with the Passport Agency but your staff followed up to be sure I had seen the email with the appointment time and date.  I was able to get my new passport the same day as the appointment, just 2 days prior to my trip.  Thank you!  Excellent service!” - Sarah from Issaquah.

“I just wanted to let you know that I received my son new passport a couple minutes ago. I am so thankful for your help, I am completely at loss of words and so relieved right now. It was quick and efficient. Thank you so so much! I truly appreciate you all at the congresswoman office. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.” - Ernestine from Bonney Lake.

“I had international travel plans for April 8. About five weeks before the trip I realized that my son’s passport had less than six months left on it before it expired. The country we were traveling to requires that there are six months left on the passport to travel there. After making an immediate passport appointment, paying for expedited service and being unable to get an in-person appointment, I contacted Rep. Schrier's office as a last-ditch effort to hopefully get the passport approved. A couple of days later her assistant contacted me and asked for my travel itinerary. The following day the passport was approved and the day after that, I actually had it in my hands. I am so thankful for the work that Rep Schreier’s office did on my behalf." - Lisa from North Bend.

While we cannot guarantee you a favorable outcome, we will do our best to help you receive a fair and timely response to your problem.
